Like so much this year, Finovate Fall Digital was a departure from the norm, but still featured a host of cutting edge demos and thought leadership from some of the best that the world of fintech has to offer. William Mills Agency was again well represented with agency CEO, William Mills, Heather Sugg, and K.T. Mills-Grimes all in attendance, and while this was the first time as a virtual event, Finovate still showcased 1300+ key fintech influencers, 120+ expert speakers, and 25 demo companies.
Finovate’s annual awards, launched last year, were presented across 23 categories. WMA client Teslar won Best Fintech Partnership for its work on PPP.bank with Citizens Bank of Edmond. And, WMA client Finzly won Best Enterprise Payments Solution for its PaymentGalaxy.
As always, the Finovate “Best of Show” award garnered the brightest spotlight and winners included: Finzly, Horizn, Lendsmart, Monit, and Q2. “This year’s winners are all impressive organizations with three dedicated to helping create a better digital experience for financial institutions and their customers, and two focused on creating better lending experiences,” said Mills.
The two biggest “pain points” in the industry right now are increased digital adoption and moving capital where it needs to go, which was reflected in many of the demos presented. Most demos at the Finovate Fall Digital touched on the important concept of adoption for their solutions, including the user experience for both customers and financial institutions.
