Jerry Goldstein is an experienced technology marketing executive and serves as a strategic marketing advisor to the agency. Jerry’s career includes more than 40 years working in a variety of software and services businesses where he developed expertise in market planning and creating integrated marketing programs that generate awareness and leads.
Jerry joined William Mills Agency in 2006 to build and manage the agency’s marketing services division and managed branding and marketing projects for a diverse group of clients serving the banking, mortgage, payments, insurance and financial information markets. In 2012, he created the agency’s Content Marketing service offering and continues to advise the agency on best practices. He retired from his daily management responsibilities at the agency at the end of 2015.
Over his career, Jerry managed more than 50 new company and product launches as a senior marketing executive and external consultant. Prior to joining William Mills Agency, Jerry was senior vice president of marketing at Prosero, a procurement business process outsourcing provider, where he was responsible for strategic planning, product management, corporate identity, public relations, alliances and lead generation. He was the founder of Market Makers, a marketing consulting firm providing strategic market planning and launch services to a national client base of software and services businesses.
Jerry began his marketing career as a product manager for cash management applications at Management Science America (MSA). While at MSA, he managed market research, planning and product management functions, and designed and implemented the company’s telemarketing operations and customer information systems.
Jerry received his Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Georgia Tech, a Master’s degree in operations research from the University of Florida and attended Wharton’s Business Marketing Strategy executive education program.
Jerry is a former collegiate wrestler and is very active in amateur wrestling in Georgia; he currently serves as an assistant coach at The Lovett School. He also is an active cyclist and can often be seen on the roads around Atlanta on weekends.
