William Mills Agency, the nation’s largest independent financial and technology public relations firm, has again been selected to lead global public relations initiatives for SourceMedia publications, American Banker and Bank Technology News, and Financial Insights, an IDC company and independent research services firm, in promoting this year’s annual FinTech ranking of the financial services industry’s top global technology and service providers.

2011 is the seventh year that William Mills Agency has been selected to promote the rankings and, as lead agency, it will guide North American outreach and manage a global network of support firms including: Hotwire PR (Europe and Asia/Pacific) and BrainPartners RP (Central America/South America).

The FinTech ranking is published as an annual special report in American Banker and Bank Technology News.  A formal awards event will coincide with the Bank Administration Institute (BAI) Retail Delivery Conference & Expo, to be held Oct. 11-13 in Chicago.

“The William Mills Agency has done an effective and reliable job of getting the word out about the FinTech 100 rankings for the past six years and we look forward to working with the firm again this year,” said Penny Crosman, editor-in-chief of Bank Technology News. “As always, we are eager to see how the industry numbers have changed over the last 12 months and which financial technology vendors will appear at the top of the 2011 rankings.”

"We are thrilled that the William Mills Agency is continuing to partner with IDC Financial Insights and SourceMedia for the eighth annual FinTech 100," says Karen Massey, senior analyst, IDC Financial Insights. "The FinTech 100 has become the global who's who of technology providers to the financial services industry and The William Mills Agency is credited with continually increasing the popularity of the FinTech 100."
