William Mills Agency, the nation’s largest independent financial PR and technology public relations firm, announced that it has promoted Nneka Egwuatu, Joy Harper and David Jones to senior account agent.
Egwuatu joined the agency more than three years ago and has successfully managed strategic media relations campaigns for a host of mortgage and credit union industry clients. A graduate of Clark Atlanta University, Egwuatu earned a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in public relations. She also holds a master’s degree in media studies from Pennsylvania State University. Egwuatu is the vice president of membership for the Atlanta chapter of the Black Public Relations Society and an active member of the Georgia chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.
Harper has more than six years of experience with the agency and, during her tenure, has successfully represented agency clients to key mortgage and banking industry media. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in Journalism from the University of Georgia and is an active member of the Georgia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. She also sits on the board of No Paws Left Behind, Inc., a 501c3 not for profit organization created with the purpose of providing distressed borrowers with relocation options for their pets during the foreclosure process and changing legislation that makes the removal of distressed animals from abandoned homes illegal.
In his third year at William Mills Agency, Jones is a public relations veteran with more than seven years of proven experience in managing the public relations and branding functions for companies in the banking, mortgage and non-profit sector. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where he earned a bachelor of arts in journalism, with a major in public relations and a minor in English. He is an active member of the Georgia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, recently serving as co-chair of the chapter’s annual professional development conference.
