Richard Bitner, co-founder of HousingWire and author of a soon to be released book outlining the inner workings of the subprime mortgage industry, “Greed, Fraud and Ignorance: A Subprime Insider’s Look at the Mortgage Collapse”, was the guest speaker at the William Mills Agency’s weekly staff luncheon on June 4, 2008. 

     A veteran of the mortgage finance business, Bitner detailed the history, editorial vision and future plans for his online publication, HousingWire, which currently reaches more than 2500 online readers daily (more than 60,000 unique monthly visitors) and continues to grow its reputation for providing unbiased, issue-centric, mortgage industry business intelligence.  HousingWire has provided up-to-date information for the mortgage finance industry through their online publication since December 2006.   The print version of HousingWire is tentatively scheduled to begin distribution in September 2008.  For more information about HousingWire, click here.
