William Mills Agency is providing pro bono support to Atlanta Urban Ministries, a nonprofit affiliate of Action Ministries and the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church that delivers assistance to financially challenged women and children in Midtown Atlanta.
The agency is providing Atlanta Urban Ministries with strategic communications planning, audit of existing activities and oversight of new materials to promote the good work the nonprofit provides to the community and to differentiate it from other worthwhile organizations serving the area.
“We cannot thank William Mills Agency enough for assisting us with our outreach efforts,” said Vanessa Milton, director of Atlanta Urban Ministries. “Atlanta Urban Ministries benefits from having outside assistance that can provide us with innovative ideas on how to share information about our programs. With the help of the William Mills Agency staff, we have the skills and talent needed to reach our communication goals.”
Atlanta Urban Ministries helps prevent homelessness and hunger by providing assistance to women and children going through financial challenges. The goal of the organization is to aid these individuals in their efforts to become self-sufficient.
In addition to providing communication services, William Mills Agency employees will also serve lunch at the Women’s Community Kitchen, an Atlanta Urban Ministries’ program that serves hot prepared meals to approximately 85 women and children on weekdays.
