Meredith Boyd Group Director
Meredith is responsible for overseeing team members, providing leadership direction and managing quality service to clients and the media. Meredith received a bachelor of science degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations from Georgia Southern University. Prior to joining William Mills Agency in 1999, she worked along the Georgia coast with a local CNN affiliate station as the lead anchor and reporter, served as a program coordinator with WNNX-FM “99X” radio in Atlanta and was a media relations consultant with the Communications 21 public relations group. In 2002, Meredith earned her residential real estate license from Georgia Institute of Real Estate (GIRE) and is recognized in Montclair Publishing’s Who’s Who in Real Estate.
She is a national spokesperson for the Arthritis Foundation and has been a dedicated volunteer for 16 years and was recently awarded the prestigious President’s Daily Points of Light award for volunteerism. She is featured in the March 2008 issue of Cobb Life Magazine as one of the “20 Under 40 Rising Stars in Business.” Meredith has eleven years of public relations experience and has been with the agency for nine years.
