Catherine Laws
Senior Vice President

Catherine has been with the agency for 12 years and has worked with more than 100 agency clients. She leads a team that supports some of the agency’s larger banking and credit union clients as well as several large clients in the mortgage industry. She is responsible for issue trend/analysis, communication and operational planning at a senior executive level including vision/long term planning, organizing, leading, evaluating and problem solving as well as leading her team to produce excellent public relations results.

Catherine joined the agency from selling business automation solutions to the staffing industry. Prior to that she was in sales and marketing at a leading credit union data processing software vendor. While there, Catherine actually hired William Mills Agency to perform public relations for the company, which was eventually acquired by one of the largest core processing vendors in the financial industry.

She began her career with Burroughs/Unisys Corporation where she was employed for more than 11 years in various sales, marketing and customer support positions all representing the financial industry.

Catherine is a native of Winston-Salem, N.C., and she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.  She and her husband live in Atlanta and have one son.  She is very involved in ALTA (Atlanta Lawn and Tennis Association) where she is co-captain of the team.  Additionally, she is an active volunteer at her son’s school.
